Vogue Williams Returns to Podcasting Weeks After Giving Birth, Shares Parenting Challenges

Vogue Williams has shared a glimpse into her life as a new mother of four, returning to her podcasting work just three weeks after the birth of her son, Remy. Williams, 40, welcomed Remy with husband Spencer Matthews on September 1. She revealed on Instagram that while she is not yet back to work full-time, she has been able to undertake a few jobs and continue her podcast recordings, noting that Remy has been a cooperative companion.

Williams also recounted a distressing incident that occurred on the school run shortly after Remy's birth. While collecting her older children, Gigi, six, and Otto, four, Williams was verbally confronted by another mother. The exchange began when the other woman questioned the positioning of Otto's bicycle at traffic lights, leading to a heated exchange where Williams was told to "f*** off."

"There's no need for that," Williams stated in response to the aggressive remark. She added that the incident has become a topic of conversation for her daughter Gigi, who recalls the woman's words.

Spencer Matthews recently spoke on Jamie Laing's podcast about the challenges of navigating life as parents to four young children. He revealed that he has been sleeping in a separate room from Williams to allow for more rested sleep for both of them, acknowledging that this arrangement can create a sense of distance.

Matthews described their current situation as a "bubble" that feels somewhat disrupted due to their ongoing house build and the demands of raising four children. He expressed a longing for more one-on-one time with his wife, noting that their evenings together are limited and often spent in separate rooms due to fatigue. He contrasted their current family dynamic with their life eight years prior when they had no children, acknowledging that their lives are now primarily centered around their kids.

Despite the adjustments, Matthews stated he can spend time away from the children, indicating a belief that this is a normal aspect of parenting. The couple also have an eight-year-old son, Theodore.
