Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews Navigating Family Life Amidst Renovation and New Baby
The couple reflects on managing four children, a move, and home renovations, while also addressing comments about their differing expressions of love.
Vogue Williams has shared insights into the demanding phase of her life with husband Spencer Matthews, characterized by raising four young children, moving homes, and undertaking an extensive renovation project. Williams expressed pride in their ability to maintain their relationship despite the pressures.
Speaking on the podcast 'My Therapist Ghosted Me,' Williams reflected on their situation. "We have navigated having four kids, doing two moves, doing a renovation, and we still f****** really like each other," she stated, humorously adding, "We should hate each other but we love each other."
The couple, who met in 2017 and married in 2018, are parents to Theodore, Gigi, Otto, and their newborn son, Remy Valentine. Just weeks after welcoming their fourth child, they are midway through an 18-month renovation of their new home in Battersea.
Williams also addressed comments made by Matthews on Katherine Ryan's podcast, where he suggested he loves her more than she loves him. Matthews had indicated he is more openly affectionate, though he acknowledged Williams occasionally makes comments that deeply please him.
"I sent it to him and I was like, 'F*** sake, Spencer.' Cue all the comments like 'Oh, she only loves you for your money,' I'm like 'For f*** sake, Spencer,'" Williams recalled of her reaction to his public statements.
She further commented on the dynamics of affection in relationships, saying, "Someone will always love someone just a little bit more and it doesn't mean that you're not in love with them. I've loved Spenny more than I've ever loved anyone else."
Matthews recounted a rare moment of compliment from Williams shortly after Remy's birth. He described celebrating with champagne at the hospital, noting that Williams made several appreciative remarks about him as a father, something he felt he often did for her but did not always receive in return.
Despite these observations, Matthews stated he has few complaints about their relationship, acknowledging that while it has its challenges like any marriage, he feels fortunate to have her as a partner. He also mentioned that their family feels complete with the arrival of their fourth child.
