Viral Video Shows Deer With Another's Antlers Dangling from Rack
Trail cam footage captures a remarkable and unusual sight in the wild.
A striking video captured by a trail camera has recently gained traction online, showing a white-tailed buck with a peculiar adornment: another deer's antlers dangling from its own rack, entangled with wire.
The footage, shared by WiseEye on Facebook, depicts the buck moving through its environment with this unusual appendage. The presence of wire around the buck's antlers, in addition to the foreign antlers, adds to the strangeness of the scene.
While it is uncommon to see a buck carrying foreign antlers, it is not unheard of. Such occurrences can happen when male deer engage in sparring matches, resulting in antlers becoming detached and potentially caught on another animal. The addition of wire suggests the buck may have encountered a fence during such an encounter, leading to the entanglement.
The video highlights a rare glimpse into the unpredictable nature of wildlife, presenting a moment that is both unusual and captivating.
