A recent viral video captured a large bison puncturing the tire of a tourist vehicle in Yellowstone National Park. The footage, shared on TikTok by user @tonya_names, shows the bison approaching the car before appearing to deflate one of its tires.
The user humorously captioned the video, "I think this bison knew we were NDSU Bison fans so picked on the car in front of us 😳 glad we escaped the bison hit." The incident has prompted a wave of online commentary, with viewers offering lighthearted explanations for the animal's actions.
Some social media users suggested the bison were "had a meeting with the Orca and decided on violence," while others quipped that the animal "saw the California plates." Another common reaction was the precision of the bison's action, with one commenter noting, "Popped it like he knew exactly what he was doing. PRECISE."
Yellowstone National Park has previously cautioned visitors about the unpredictable nature of bison. Park officials advise maintaining a safe distance from these large animals, which can weigh up to 2,000 pounds and move at surprising speeds. Instances of bison exhibiting aggressive behavior towards visitors have been reported, including incidents where individuals were reportedly injured.
