Violent Knife Fight Erupts on UK Bus Amidst Passenger Panic

A terrifying knife fight broke out between youths on an Arriva bus this week in front of screaming passengers. The brawl, captured on camera, saw a young man on the bus holding a large knife attacked by multiple individuals wielding weapons.

The incident is understood to be linked to an ongoing police investigation following a stabbing in Birmingham earlier this week. The footage shows violence erupting in the middle of the bus aisle while panicked onlookers are trapped inside.

At the beginning of the video, a man is seen standing near the front of the bus, holding a zombie knife. He appears to be shouting at the driver to leave as a group of at least four youths outside the vehicle bang on the windows. The bus remains stationary, and the group then boards the vehicle.

Once on board, the group attacks the man with weapons, including a knife and a metal object. One passenger is heard exclaiming, "He's got a knife you know." Several passengers, including an elderly woman, attempt to flee the scene but are unable to exit the bus safely due to the severity of the fighting.

A group of four are seen pursuing the man onto the bus and attacking him with weapons

One youth is seen striking the man multiple times with a blade before appearing to stomp on someone who has fallen to the ground, as others join the assault. The video concludes as onlookers urge someone to call the police.

This incident follows a stabbing in Birmingham city centre on Tuesday evening that left a man with serious injuries described by police as "likely to be life-changing." West Midlands Police reported that the man was chased onto a bus by a group around 10:30 p.m. on Corporation Street.

Authorities have charged Dello Alphaoumar, 21, with violent disorder. A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces charges of violent disorder, threatening a person with a blade, and possession of a hammer. A second 16-year-old boy has been released on bail. Police are continuing their search for a fourth suspect and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage of the event to come forward. Information can be provided by calling 101 or through the force's live chat on their website, referencing log 5780 of October 13.
