Vikings Visit Bears in Week 2 NFC North Showdown

The Minnesota Vikings will face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, Sept. 20, in their first NFC North matchup of the season. The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET.

Oddsmakers have tabbed the Vikings as 5.5-point favorites. The Vikings are coming off a 39-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell praised backup quarterback Carson Wentz, who stepped in for an injured Kyler Murray, for his performance in the win. "Without any doubt on that sideline, you guys knew what was coming, and he went out there, poised it all, calmed everyone down, and he went out, and helped us win that football game," O'Connell said.

The Bears enter the game following a 59-37 win against the Carolina Panthers. This Week 2 contest is the Bears' first home game and first NFC North division game of the year.
