Video Surfaces of Trump Piñata Being Beheaded at California College

A viral video has emerged showing students at Contra Costa College in San Pablo, California, destroying a piñata designed to resemble former President Donald Trump. The undated video, posted by Libs of TikTok, depicts a blindfolded individual striking and beheading the piñata, which was adorned with a red baseball cap and a sign reading "F--- ICE."

Following the incident, an unidentified man in the video is seen holding the decapitated piñata aloft to cheers from onlookers. Libs of TikTok identified Lorena Gonzalez, a counselor at the college, as appearing to celebrate the event in the clip.

Contra Costa College issued a statement to Libs of TikTok asserting that the institution "does not condone or allow violent political rhetoric" and that the incident "was addressed as a personnel matter."

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle condemned the actions, stating, "Anyone who engages in or endorses political violence or assassination culture must be condemned in the harshest terms possible." He added, "They should also immediately seek psychiatric help to treat their severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has warped their brains and made them sick in the head."

The video's emergence comes amid other recent campus incidents involving political figures. In one instance, a UC Irvine lecturer reportedly appeared to endorse violence against Nick Shirley ahead of an event hosted by Harvard Republicans. Separately, a lawsuit was filed against UC Berkeley, alleging the university stonewalled an investigation into a violent ambush at a Turning Point USA event featuring Rob Schneider.

The alleged beheading of the Trump piñata reportedly occurred several months prior to the video's recent surfacing.
