Video Shows Parcel Worker Discarding Packages

A parcel worker was filmed on video carelessly tossing packages to the ground after retrieving them from an InPost locker, an act captured by a Vinted seller and shared widely on TikTok.

The 16-second clip shows the worker, wearing a luminous orange vest, at a Tesco location in Preston. The video, posted two days prior to the report and which has garnered over 170,000 views, depicts the worker casually tapping his foot before opening a locker and throwing two parcels onto the ground.

The Vinted seller who posted the video, identified as Gillian, stated that her recording serves as proof of how parcels can be damaged in transit. In a caption accompanying the video, she wrote, "If you've recently posted a parcel via @InPostUK at the Preston, Deepdale Tesco Inpost Lockers, then this is how they are being treated!! If anyone receives notification that their parcels are damaged and need proof of why, here it is!!"

The video has accumulated more than 5,000 likes, and the comments section reflects viewer anger, with many sharing images of their own damaged parcels. Users expressed dismay at the worker's carelessness, with one commenter stating, "Just why no respect, be different if the shoe was on the other foot bet he wouldn't like that to happen with his stuff." Others speculated that "this man hates his job" or questioned if the worker had been reported and fired.

One commenter noted having recently sent a package from the same location and planned to save the video as potential evidence should the buyer claim damage.

InPost has been contacted for comment regarding the incident. The identity of the worker remains unknown.
