Victoria Beckham's Strict Diet Revealed

Victoria Beckham, the 52-year-old fashion designer and former Spice Girl, adheres to a remarkably consistent diet, reportedly eating the same meals for more than 25 years. This disciplined approach to food has been noted by her husband, David Beckham, who described her eating habits as rarely deviating from grilled fish and steamed vegetables.

"Since I’ve met Victoria, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables,” David Beckham stated in a 2022 appearance on the "River Cafe Table 4" podcast. “She’ll very rarely deviate away from there.”

Victoria Beckham herself has acknowledged her extreme approach to lifestyle choices, telling Vogue Australia that her husband meant he had never met anyone more disciplined with their eating habits. On a daily basis, she consumes healthy fats such as fish, avocado, and nuts. Her preferred comfort food is a slice of plain whole-grain toast with salt.

Her dietary choices share similarities with the Mediterranean diet, which emphasizes vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fish, and healthy fats, while limiting red meat and added sugars. This eating pattern has been associated with numerous health benefits, including a reduced risk of heart disease, improved cholesterol levels, better blood pressure, and potentially a lower risk of Type 2 diabetes and certain cancers, while also supporting cognitive health and weight management.

Beckham previously mentioned to Net-A-Porter that while her diet once included fruit, she reduced her intake as it could cause bloating. She considers a few glasses of red wine her treat, a beverage that traditionally features in Mediterranean dining culture. She also enjoys tequila.

Her morning routine involves consuming three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, followed by hot water with lemon and multiple cups of coffee. Apple cider vinegar may aid in lowering blood sugar and supporting appetite reduction for weight management. Lemon water contributes to hydration and vitamin C intake, and may help prevent kidney stones by increasing citrate levels in urine. Moderate coffee consumption has been linked to benefits for liver and metabolic health, and a reduced risk of chronic diseases.

David Beckham recalled only one instance where his wife deviated from her strict diet: during her pregnancy with their daughter Harper, who is now 15. He humorously noted that while he remembered enjoying the meal, Victoria had not eaten it since.
