Victoria Beckham Reveals She's Never Used the NYC Subway

Victoria Beckham has shared that she has never taken the subway in New York City and confessed to not understanding the concept of a "dive bar." The revelations came in an Instagram video posted while she was in the city, speaking with Zanna Rassi, founder of Milk Makeup.

When Rassi asked Beckham if she had ever used public transport in NYC, the fashion designer replied, "I have never but I hear it's very efficient." Upon hearing about the L train, Beckham stated, "I don't know what that is but I'll take your word for it." The conversation then turned to "dive bars," a term Beckham admitted she was unfamiliar with. After Rassi explained it as a "dirty late night drinking spot," Beckham indicated she would rely on Rassi's recommendations.

During the video, Beckham also showcased a pair of what she described as "sensible" heels from her own brand, which she carried in her Hermes handbag. She stated she was wearing high heels at the moment but had the other pair for walking. The "sensible" heels measured 115mm in height.

Beckham's handbag contents also included her perfume, a lipstick, crystals, and sunglasses. She had been in New York to visit her new flagship store on Mercer Street. The store's design, by artist Alexander May and architect Ole Lund, features a burgundy palette with marble, timber, lacquer, and velvet finishes.

Earlier in the year, the Victoria Beckham brand reported a profit for the first time since its inception, with an operating profit of £7.3 million for the 12 months ending December 2025. Beckham had also recently appeared on NBC's "Today" show, where she discussed enjoying wine in her vegetable patch with her husband, David Beckham, and joked about his large homegrown cucumbers.
