Victoria Beckham Launches Tableware Line, Admits Cooking Isn't Her Forte

Victoria Beckham has expanded her brand into homeware design with a new tableware collection, though she admits cooking is not her strong suit.

A New Venture in Tableware

The fashion designer's collaboration with interiors giant Westwing features items ranging from cocktail napkins priced at approximately $65 to a $140 shell-shaped chrome butter dish and knife set. Beckham described the collection as "rooted in reality" and inspired by her love of entertaining. However, she clarified that while she handles the table plan, guest list, and music, her husband, David Beckham, manages the food and drinks menu.

"I'm not going to lie, I'm not up early doing the cooking," Beckham confessed.

She emphasized that her foray into homeware is influenced by the idea that "things need to be used, things need to be shared. I don't think you can ever be too precious."

Business Success and Personal Anecdotes

Beckham's latest venture follows a period of significant financial success for her eponymous fashion and beauty brands. After years of substantial losses and reliance on her husband's financial support, her business turned a profit of £7.3 million ($9 million) in the year ending December 2025. This turnaround was largely attributed to the success of her beauty range, particularly a foundation that sold out quickly.

Her company, Victoria Beckham Holdings, reported a 15% increase in revenue, reaching £129.8 million ($163 million) in the same period, marking its fifth consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth.

"To be able to sit here now and say that both the fashion and beauty arms of my business, independent of each other, are profitable and thriving... that gives me huge confidence," Beckham stated. She highlighted that this success is the result of her hard work and not something that was simply given to her.

Beckham also shared an anecdote about a past anniversary dinner in Paris where an "entire bottle of red wine" was spilled on her white dress, an incident she claims she "laughed off."

She has been inspired by her love of entertaining, but insists whilst she is in charge of the table plan, guest list and playlist, she leaves the drinks and food menu to husband David, 51

Family Dinners

Outside of dining out, Beckham expressed her fondness for traditional family dinners at home with David and their children. She described these meals as being filled with conversation. Sundays are consistently reserved for a roast dinner, regardless of the family's location, with David particular about Yorkshire puddings and gravy.

Sundays are reserved for a roast dinner wherever the jet-setting family are in the world and no matter what the weather, with David insistent on yorkshire puddings and 'extra thick' gravy
