Victoria Beckham Discusses Husband David's Gardening and Makes a Tequila Toast on TODAY Show

Victoria Beckham joined hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones on the TODAY show this week, showcasing a playful side that included a tequila shot and lighthearted remarks about her husband David Beckham's large cucumbers.

During the segment, the former Spice Girl, dressed in a £1,190 pink dress from her own collection and £590 pink 'Harlow' heels, participated in a tequila toast. While Bush Hager and Jones took their shots with lemon chasers, Beckham opted for two small sips, which the hosts noted as "the ladylike thing to do."

The conversation then turned to David Beckham's passion for gardening. A photograph of the former footballer proudly displaying a large tromboncino squash from their Cotswolds garden was shown. "It looks like an instrument," Beckham commented with a smile.

Bush Hager then presented a picture of her own cucumbers, prompting a comparison with David's impressive produce. "I've heard your cucumbers are very impressive, actually," Beckham told Bush Hager, who replied, "I think his cucumber is bigger than my cucumber."

Beckham responded with a laugh, "It's a bit early to talk about this, no? We have tequila, now we're talking about... I mean, what is this?"

Sheinelle Jones remarked on the couple's ability to embrace such activities, saying, "I love that you guys are in a space now where you can do those things. If [David] wants to have a garden, have the best garden."

Victoria Beckham agreed, emphasizing the value of shared time. "We work so much, that we value that time together, in the vegetable patch," she said. "We might have a glass of wine. And it's so lovely that we can do that together and we really cherish and protect those moments. It's just a lovely thing to do and by the way, his vegetables are impressive!"
