Victoria Beckham celebrated the launch of her Portofino ‘97 fragrance pop-up in New York City on Friday, with her husband David and three of their children showing their support. Sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 21, along with daughter Harper, 15, were present at the event held at Caffe Paradiso. Cruz was accompanied by his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.
Notably absent from the family gathering was eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, who has reportedly been estranged from his parents. The family has been seen together in recent weeks, including at World Cup events in the United States.
Reports suggest that Brooklyn has avoided family celebrations and outings. His absence follows a period of reported tension, including claims that he was unhappy about being included in a Father's Day post and a desire for his parents to "leave him alone." Sources have indicated that Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram and that legal representatives have been involved in communication.
Earlier in the year, Brooklyn was reportedly criticized for a commercial in which he discussed watching the FIFA World Cup from home, with some interpreting it as a jab at his parents. Friends of the Beckham family have stated that David and Victoria are "devastated and inconsolable" by the ongoing estrangement.
Victoria Beckham is scheduled to miss Mel C's wedding to Chris Dingwall in the Lake District this weekend, as she will remain in the U.S. with David for the World Cup final.
