Victoria Beckham has declared Miami her "happy place" as she expands her fashion and beauty empire in the United States. The former Spice Girl celebrated the launch of her first U.S. pop-up store at Bal Harbour Shops in Miami on Friday, marking the first location outside of London to feature both her fashion and beauty lines under one roof.
Beckham, 52, expressed her enthusiasm for the Florida city, telling Vogue, "I mean, what’s not to love about Miami? I’d say it’s my happy place. The people, the energy, the way of life, and waking up to incredible weather every day."
The family's presence in Miami is partly due to David Beckham's role as co-owner and president of Inter Miami CF, leading to the family splitting their time between the U.S. and the UK.
Victoria shared photos this week of her husband David, 51, and their children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 15, at their Florida residence. Sons Romeo and Cruz were accompanied by their partners, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, respectively.
During the store opening event, Victoria wore pieces from her own collection and expressed her excitement: "So excited to be here tonight in Miami, celebrating the House of Victoria Beckham at @balharbourshops with my family and friends!"
The event, however, was notable for the absence of their eldest son, Brooklyn, 27, amid reports of a family rift. This comes shortly after Victoria and David reportedly made attempts to reconcile by referencing Brooklyn in their wedding anniversary posts, despite his previous request for them to refrain from mentioning him on social media.
Brooklyn has not attended Beckham family gatherings since Christmas 2024. While he and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, visited London for the holidays, he has since reportedly asked his parents to cease posting about him online. Victoria's anniversary tribute included her "four amazing children," and David's post also referenced his pride in their family.
Sources indicate that Brooklyn has been "fuming" about these social media mentions, feeling they re-open past issues. Reports suggest that Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram prior to Christmas last year, and his legal team has since communicated with the Beckhams' representatives. In January, Brooklyn reportedly released a statement indicating he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham" and described his family as "performative."
