Vicky Pattison Joins Women's Health UK Podcast as Co-Host

Vicky Pattison has been announced as the new co-host of Women's Health UK's Just As Well podcast, where she will explore topics related to women's physical and mental health alongside Editor-in-Chief Claire Sanderson.

Pattison's first episode, set to air on October 20, will feature her discussing her struggles with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and her journey toward starting a family. "Women’s health is something I’m incredibly passionate about, and I know from my own experience how confusing, isolating and overwhelming it can feel trying to find answers," Pattison stated in a release. "From PMDD and fertility to ADHD, hormones and mental wellbeing, there’s still so much we need to talk about openly and without judgement."

Pattison, 38, takes over from Gemma Atkinson, the former host who co-presented the podcast with Sanderson. Sanderson expressed her delight in welcoming Pattison, noting her warmth and openness as assets to the show's conversations. "With expert guests, we want every episode to give our audience useful, evidence-backed advice, as well as the feeling of being part of an honest conversation," Sanderson said.

Future episodes will include discussions with guests such as Dani Dyer, Suranne Jones, consultant oncologist Dr. Anita Mitra, and menopause and ADHD expert Dr. Helen Wall. The podcast aims to provide listeners with informed, supported, and less isolated experiences regarding women's health matters.

Pattison has previously shared her experiences with PMDD and her fertility journey, including freezing her eggs at age 35. She has spoken about concerns regarding motherhood due to the condition, which can cause significant emotional and psychological challenges.

Vicky's very first episode, which will air on October 20, will see her in the hotseat as she opens up on her debilitating battle with PMDD and her quest to have a baby.

The TV star, 38, will join Women's Health's Editor-in-Chief Claire Sanderson on the podcast which will see them explore a plethora of topics covering women's physical and mental health.
