Vicki Gunvalson has returned to The Real Housewives of Orange County for its 20th season, marking her comeback after a four-year hiatus. Gunvalson expressed gratitude to Bravo executive Andy Cohen for the opportunity, recounting an emotional experience at BravoCon when she was asked to rejoin the show.

During the Season 20 premiere, Gunvalson, who balances her time between Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Coto de Caza, California, is depicted navigating the ongoing friction between her friends Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador. Gunvalson stated her current approach is to "keep the peace" and hopes for kindness and resolution between them.

"They may never be friends like they were before, but if they could be kind to each other and move on… that is the best gift I could ask from them," Gunvalson said. She teased that an "evolution in their friendship" will be a theme throughout the season, suggesting a potential improvement in their relationship.

Gunvalson drew a parallel to her own experience with Heather Dubrow, where a misunderstanding about Dubrow's wealth was resolved. She believes that questioning issues, reaching an understanding, and moving forward is a positive aspect of the show.

Reflecting on her return, Gunvalson described the experience as "great," "blessed," and "happy." She noted the significant fan support she has received since her return was announced at BravoCon, where Cohen surprised her with an offer to come back for Season 20.

During filming for 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th,' Gunvalson observed a disruptive incident involving Judge and Beador at The Quiet Woman restaurant. She described the event as "embarrassing" and "disappointing," as it detracted from the intended group experience.

Gunvalson also addressed a comment made by a new cast member, reportedly calling her "expired." Gunvalson asserted her continued presence and relevance in the franchise, stating, "No, bitch. I’m not expired. I’m still alive. I’ve still here!"

Regarding her relationship with her boyfriend, Mike Smith, Gunvalson confirmed his support for her return to the show. She stated that he is a "good partner" who helps her maintain her individuality.

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' airs Thursday nights on Bravo.
