Vice President Vance's Daughter Steals the Spotlight During Campaign Trip

Vice President JD Vance's four-year-old daughter, Mirabel, became an unexpected highlight during a campaign trip to Ohio for the midterm elections.

While boarding Air Force Two at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Friday, the young Mirabel was captured on video excitedly skipping ahead of her parents, Vice President Vance and his wife, Usha Vance. The family was traveling to Ohio to support local Republican candidates.

Mirabel, dressed in a green dinosaur-print dress, a lavender sweater tied around her waist, and red and white sneakers, wore large headphones as she ran toward the aircraft. Her parents, along with their newborn son Alec, followed behind. Their older son, Vivek, six, was also on board, holding the family dog, Atlas.

The footage of Mirabel's enthusiastic boarding quickly went viral on social media platform X, with many users commenting on her adorableness.

This incident follows a recent moment where Usha Vance was praised for her composure after nearly falling while carrying their newborn son, Alec. While disembarking a helicopter earlier in the week, she stumbled but caught herself on the railings. The incident, also captured on video, drew comments from social media users both admiring her recovery and criticizing the security personnel who did not immediately offer assistance.

Usha and JD Vance welcomed their fourth child, Alec Neel Vance, in July. They also have a nine-year-old son, Ewan. The Vice President thanked the medical staff at Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit for their care during the birth.
