Verizon and Xfinity are presenting promotional offers that allow consumers to save hundreds of dollars on new Samsung Galaxy and Apple iPhone devices. These limited-time deals are available to both new and existing customers.
Verizon Promotions
Verizon is providing several incentives for smartphone upgrades. Through August 21, customers can purchase a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 without a trade-in requirement. Under this promotion, qualified buyers can finance the device for $58.33 per month for 12 months, a reduction from the standard financing price of $158.33 per month. An alternative 48-month financing plan starts at $14.58 per month.
Additionally, Verizon's Simplicity Plan is currently offered at $30 per month, down from $45, for a limited time. This plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data, along with 10GB of mobile hotspot data and access to Verizon's 5G network where available. The plan offers flexibility, allowing users to bring their own device, purchase a new phone, or upgrade annually.
For iPhone users, Verizon is offering an iPhone 17 for $0 per month for 36 months for new and existing customers who add a line. This offer, valid through the end of August, requires an eligible trade-in of most working Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola, or Google phones and requires Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan. Taxes and fees may apply.
Xfinity Deals
Xfinity is also rolling out competitive offers. Through August 25, customers can save up to $1,000 on select Samsung phones, including flagship models like the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, as well as more affordable options like the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy A27. This offer requires signing up for the Mobile Plus plan and trading in an eligible device. The amount saved depends on the value of the trade-in, not exceeding the device's current market value.
In addition, Xfinity customers on the Mobile Plus plan can receive up to $600 off new Samsung phones without needing to trade in a device. This promotion, also ending August 25, features the Galaxy Z Flip8 starting at $5.55 per month, reduced from over $30 per month. The Galaxy S26+ is available for $2.77 per month, and the Galaxy S26 is offered at $0 per month.
An iPhone 17 promotion is also available through Xfinity, offering up to $830 off the device for customers who trade in an eligible device and subscribe to the Mobile Plus plan. This deal concludes on August 25.
