Van Ness recorded 10 tackles, including 1 1/2 sacks, as the Packers' defense successfully limited the Jets' offense, particularly in crucial late-game situations. Despite the defensive heroics, the Jets' special teams and coaching decisions drew criticism. Special teams player Skyy Moore made a significant impact with a 63-yard punt return late in the fourth quarter, which set up the Packers' game-tying field goal. However, the Jets accumulated 156 yards in penalties throughout the game, hindering their ability to maintain momentum.
Jets coach Aaron Glenn also faced scrutiny for questionable timeout usage and overall game management.
