A Utah man faces multiple felony charges, including rape and domestic violence in the presence of a child, after allegedly sexually assaulting his wife while she was breastfeeding their infant daughter, according to a criminal complaint filed in Washington County.

The suspect, who is 30 years old, is accused of demanding intimacy from his wife in their home last month. The wife reportedly refused, stating she was uncomfortable with her husband's advances while their daughter was nursing. The complaint alleges the husband proceeded to have sex with her despite her refusal, placing his body weight on both his wife and the infant.

Charging documents further allege that bodily fluid struck both the wife and the baby during the encounter. The man is now facing two counts of rape, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, and one count of lewdness involving a child. He has not yet entered a plea.

Records indicate a judge ordered the suspect held without bail, deeming him a substantial danger to others if released. The alleged attacks are not isolated incidents, according to the complaint. The wife claims her husband has been sexually assaulting her for years.

Another alleged attack detailed in an affidavit occurred in May 2026. The wife states she was in their living room with their infant daughter present when her husband allegedly raped her after she explicitly told him no. The documents claim he pulled her pants off and engaged in non-consensual intercourse.

When arrested, the suspect reportedly recalled both alleged incidents. He allegedly admitted to having sex with his wife while she was holding their infant but stated she did not indicate the encounter was non-consensual. He also allegedly admitted to accidentally ejaculating on their infant daughter during that incident.

Additional records show the suspect is also charged with violating a domestic order, and his wife has filed for divorce.
