The United States Men's National Soccer Team (USMNT) is set to compete against Belgium in the World Cup 2026 Round of 16. The match is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at Lumen Field in Seattle.

USMNT striker Folarin Balogun was initially suspended for the game after receiving a red card in a previous match. However, FIFA has since lifted his suspension following an intervention by President Donald Trump. According to CBS News, Trump contacted FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the play that resulted in Balogun's card.

Balogun will now join fellow USMNT players, including Christian Pulisic, Malik Tillman, and Matt Freese, for the match. The USMNT recently secured a 2-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 2.
