The U.S. Secret Service has stated it is aware of an apparent threat made against Barron Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump. The acknowledgment comes amid the circulation of a video reportedly originating from Iranian state-affiliated media targeting the former president's son.

This incident follows a similar video released in July by the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency. That video focused on Melania Trump, Barron Trump's mother, and outlined alleged security vulnerabilities with a threat that stated, “Barron Trump, wait for us!”

Donald Trump has been a subject of threats from Iran since his first term. Iranian leaders have reportedly targeted Trump since he ordered the airstrike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in early 2020. Tensions further escalated when the U.S. launched an operation against Iran in late February, resulting in the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. His son, Mojtaba Khamenei, has reportedly vowed to avenge his father's death.

Imagery depicting the deaths of Trump and his family has become a recurring theme in Iran's response narrative. In the month prior to this report, a mural in Tehran's Palestine Square featured portraits of the U.S. First Family on coffins draped with the American flag. Additionally, a billboard in Enqelab Square displayed what appeared to be Trump's body emerging from a coffin, a site often used for pro-Khamenei demonstrations.
