The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted its seventh consecutive night of airstrikes against Iran on Friday, targeting military logistics infrastructure, surveillance sites, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities, according to a statement from the command.

US forces employed fighter aircraft, aerial drones, and warships in the operation, which concluded at 9:30 p.m. ET. Video footage released by CENTCOM depicted cruise missiles launching from a Navy warship, fighter jets in flight, and at least three targets struck by precision munitions. One observed target was a communications tower, and another appeared to be a highway road bridge.

CENTCOM stated that it continues to hold Iran accountable and enforce a naval blockade against Iranian ports under the direction of the Commander in Chief. The command noted that more than 50,000 American service members are operating across the Middle East.

Iranian state media reported explosions in several central and southern Iranian cities, including Ahvaz, Lar, Yazd, and Sirik. In response to the US actions, Iran reportedly fired missiles and launched drones at several regional countries. The armies of Kuwait and Jordan reported intercepting Iranian missiles and drones, and air raid sirens were sounded in Bahrain.

These strikes follow two waves of US assaults on Thursday aimed at disrupting access to the port of Bandar Abbas. On Thursday, US forces toppled a surveillance tower in Chabahar, a city located on a key trade route.

President Trump had previously warned that the US military intended to strike power plants and other infrastructure targets in Iran if diplomatic negotiations failed. He stated in an interview on Tuesday that the US would "knock out" power plants and bridges unless Iran engaged in negotiations, reimposing a naval blockade on Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz as part of this pressure campaign.
