The Chiefs, currently 5-0 this season, are looking to continue their success despite some initial doubts about their championship window closing. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes appears to have recovered from a torn ACL last season, showing improved mobility in and out of the pocket. While he may not have an elite receiving option, he can rely on veteran tight end Travis Kelce. The addition of running back Kenneth Walker III has also diversified the Chiefs' offense.

The Seattle Seahawks, who won the Super Bowl last year, have started the season at 3-3. Their offensive struggles are largely attributed to quarterback Sam Darnold. Darnold's season began with an injury in the first game, and since returning, he has struggled with turnovers. He has thrown seven interceptions and seven touchdowns this season, with a costly interception in overtime last week contributing to a near loss against the Broncos. The Seahawks' running game has also been a significant weakness.

The Chiefs and Seahawks are set to play on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 8:20 p.m. ET, with the game broadcast on NBC and Peacock from Lumen Field in Seattle.
