Ulrika Jonsson, 58, recently shared a topless photograph on Instagram from her vacation in Greece, drawing attention as she continues a regimen to address years of sun damage.
The television personality posted the image, in which her arms shield her modesty, with a simple caption, "Hot potato." The snapshot highlighted her cleavage and stomach, accompanied by images of bikinis drying in the sun and scenic views from the trip.
Jonsson has previously spoken about her past relationship with sun exposure, describing UV rays as her "drug of choice." However, she has stated her commitment to changing this habit. In a May article for You Magazine, she reflected on her youth, acknowledging that while she used SPF, she prioritized tanning, especially during holidays. As someone from a Nordic background, she sought out sunlight whenever possible.
She noted a shift in her perspective, stating, "I now have a greater respect for my skin." Jonsson revealed that she has not intentionally sat in the sun since meeting with a surgeon and has stopped using sunbeds. She now wears SPF daily, even in winter, crediting professional treatments for improving her skin's condition.
In March, Jonsson detailed cosmetic procedures she underwent to reverse the effects of sun damage. She expressed a desire to "look the best that I can for my age," rather than appearing younger. The treatments included biostimulators to stimulate collagen production and hyaluronic acid fillers to address wrinkles and folds.
Alongside her efforts to improve her skin, Jonsson also marked nearly two years of sobriety. She described giving up alcohol as a "spiritual awakening," transforming her outlook from one of not wanting to live to embracing life's moments. Jonsson shared that she found a sense of safety and belonging in recovery programs and that the experience has fundamentally changed her approach to life's challenges.
