Ukraine conducted one of its most extensive drone attacks on Russian territory to date, deploying hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles and causing at least six fatalities. The assaults represent a significant escalation as Ukrainian forces increasingly target areas deep within Russia, nearly four and a half years after Moscow's full-scale invasion.
Russia's Ministry of Defense reported intercepting and destroying 822 Ukrainian drones overnight. According to the ministry, approximately 600 drones were detected heading toward the Moscow region, with about a third of those being downed over the capital itself.
