A UK teenager, identified as Meg, has detailed how she believes she was groomed by her headteacher, Neil Foden, beginning in 2023 when she was 14 years old. According to Meg, Foden offered her one-to-one support after she discussed difficulties at school with her parents. She stated that Foden instructed her not to inform her parents about their meetings, while also advising her parents not to discuss their arrangement with her, a situation she felt prevented open family communication.
Meg reported attending 17 "support" sessions alone with Foden. She felt she could "trust him" and began to open up. She recalled Foden asking if she was scared of him, to which she replied "yes," believing this confirmed his authority over her. At the time, Meg said she felt "special" and desired constant companionship, a vulnerability she believes Foden exploited. She observed him looking her up and down, describing his actions as "grooming" that "controls your mind" and a "game."
