UK Player Wins £111 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

A EuroMillions ticket holder in the United Kingdom has won the £111 million jackpot from Friday night's draw. The anonymous winner is the third UK jackpot recipient of the year and was among 2.8 million participants in the transnational lottery.

The winning numbers were 11, 12, 15, 38, and 49, with Lucky Stars 10 and 12. This Superdraw prize of €130 million, equivalent to £111 million, was significantly boosted by nearly €100 million from a previous draw.

The winner has 180 days to claim their prize, which exceeds the estimated net worth of England captain Harry Kane. The jackpot for the next draw will reset to approximately £14 million.

Superdraws occur a few times annually. The previous Superdraw in February resulted in a UK ticket holder winning £181 million.

Andy Carter, from lottery operator Allwyn, confirmed the win, stating, "One lucky ticket-holder has won the life-changing £111m super jackpot prize. Be sure to check your tickets and get in touch if you think you might be tonight's lucky winner."

This win follows other substantial EuroMillions jackpots claimed by UK residents. In 2022, Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester won £184 million, while Colin and Chris Weir of Scotland won £161 million in 2011. In 2019, Frances and Patrick Connolly from Northern Ireland secured a £114.9 million jackpot on New Year's Day.
