UK Defense Plan Targets Russian Missile Threats
Kemi Badenoch proposes a £10 billion 'Iron Dome' system for Britain.
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has outlined a plan for a robust defense system, drawing parallels to Israel's 'Iron Dome,' to protect Britain from missile attacks. Under a potential Conservative government, this initiative aims to create a shield for cities and military bases against threats from adversaries such as Russia and Iran.
The proposed system is projected to cost approximately £10 billion. Badenoch's announcement signals a commitment to enhancing the United Kingdom's air defense capabilities in response to evolving geopolitical security concerns.
A poll conducted by The Morning Poll is seeking public opinion on the level of concern regarding potential Russian missile attacks on Britain. The results of this poll are expected to be published in the Morning Mail newsletter.
