Tyreek Hill's Ex-Wife Alleges Abuse During Civil Trial
Lakeeta Hill testified that the NFL player punched her while she was pregnant, potentially impacting his future with teams.
Lakeeta Hill, the ex-wife of NFL player Tyreek Hill, testified during the first day of her civil trial in Miami, detailing allegations of abuse. According to her testimony, which was livestreamed, Tyreek Hill allegedly punched her in the stomach in July 2024 while she was pregnant because he expressed not wanting the child.
During her sworn testimony, Lakeeta Hill described the incident, stating, "The first time he struck at my stomach and punched it and I saved myself." She added that Hill said, "I don’t want the baby." She recounted attempting to block the blow and protect the unborn child.
Lakeeta Hill further alleged that the incident escalated, with Tyreek Hill grabbing her hair, ripping it out, and throwing her belongings. She described feeling vulnerable due to her pregnancy and stated that Hill treated her like "a man." The alleged attack lasted approximately 30 minutes, during which her purse and its contents were reportedly destroyed.
Following the incident, Hill allegedly expected her to attend a dinner with his family, an invitation she declined. She mentioned informing his grandparents about the events, but they allegedly dismissed her concerns.
Lakeeta Hill filed for divorce in April 2025, one day after law enforcement responded to their Florida home amid an alleged assault in progress. Tyreek Hill has been the subject of speculation regarding potential signings with NFL teams, including the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, but these allegations could now impact those possibilities.
