Tycoon Tracked Down After Model Found Dead on Yacht
Private investigators located Christopher Durnan, who allegedly fled his yacht naked after bikini designer Martha Nolan-O'Slatarra was found dead aboard.
Christopher Durnan, a 61-year-old tycoon, was located by private investigators on October 1, according to the Daily Mail. The investigators served him with a $50 million lawsuit demanding damages.
Investigators tracked Durnan down to serve him with legal documents related to the death of Martha Nolan-O'Slatarra, a 33-year-old bikini designer and founder of the swimwear brand East x East. Nolan-O'Slatarra was found unresponsive aboard Durnan's 50-foot yacht, named Ripple, in Montauk on August 5, 2025. She was declared dead at the scene.
Photographs taken the morning after the incident revealed a dusting of white powder across a seat inside the yacht's cabin. Nolan-O'Slatarra's family has denied that she died of a cocaine overdose. The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation.
Durnan, the owner of the yacht, had reportedly invested more than $200,000 in Nolan-O'Slatarra's beauty boutique. He is believed to split his time between a waterfront home in Florida and New York. His Florida residence in Lantana is valued at $10 million and has a fleet of luxury cars, including a $250,000 Lamborghini Urus.
Nolan-O'Slatarra's funeral was held at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Carlow, Ireland, on August 20, 2025.
