The aviators, assigned to Carrier Air Wing 3, were rescued by search and rescue personnel after successfully ejecting. Both were returned to the carrier and are undergoing medical evaluation. Of the four injured sailors, one was transported to a Norfolk-area hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
