Two Men Charged with Murder in Lincolnshire
Hayley Ann Marson, 33, was found dead at a property; two men have been charged with murder.
Two men have been charged with murder following the discovery of Hayley Ann Marson, 33, deceased at a house in Hogsthorpe, Lincolnshire. Police were alerted to the incident on Tuesday morning.
John Scott, 52, of no fixed address, and John Welby, 65, of Thames Street, were arrested and subsequently charged. They appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Friday and have been remanded in custody. A further court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
Ms. Marson's family described her as a "gentle and caring soul" with "a heart of gold." In a statement, they said she was "taken from us far too soon, leaving a space in our family that can never truly be filled." They added that she "brought laughter, smiles and so many memories that we will treasure forever."
Detective Inspector Melissa Rooke stated that the investigation is proceeding quickly to provide answers for the family. "Multiple lines of enquiry are ongoing as we work to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death," Rooke said. Police currently believe the incident to be isolated and do not assess there to be any wider risk to the public.
