Jonathan Glover and Charlie Land have been sentenced to jail for their involvement in violent disorder that occurred at an asylum hotel in Epping. They are the ninth and tenth individuals to receive sentences for their participation in the clashes, with eight and nine respectively being incarcerated.

During the incident, police vehicles were attacked. Footage presented in court showed Land, who was wearing a face covering, climbing onto one of the vehicles and kicking its windscreen. The judge stated that Glover was a "full and enthusiastic participant" in the disorder and showed "no regard" for police safety, noting that his mask contributed to an "atmosphere of intimidation."

Land has a history of convictions, with seven previous convictions for nine offenses. The judge acknowledged Land's "immaturity" in causing "mindless violence."

Other individuals have also been sentenced for their roles in the disorder. Phillip Curson received a 27-month sentence in August for shoving a police officer. Three other protesters were jailed in October, and Lee Gower and Shaun Thompson were sentenced in June. Aaron Elles was also given a prison sentence of one year and eight months in October. Luke Fleming received a one-year and nine-month suspended prison term in June.

As Glover and Land were led from the dock, Glover called out to his parents, expressing his love for them.
