Two men died on Friday afternoon when a light plane crashed into a paddock near an aerodrome in the Upper Hunter region. Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Bunnan Road, close to Scone Aerodrome, around 1:55 p.m. Upon arrival, police confirmed that a light plane had crashed and its two male occupants were deceased. Investigations are currently underway to formally identify the individuals.
