Two Couples Eliminated from Dancing With the Stars Season 35

The ballroom became less crowded on "Dancing With the Stars" Season 35 following Horror Movie Night, which resulted in a double elimination. Two couples were sent home after their scores from both Dedication Night and Horror Movie Night were combined.

Tyler Cameron, who previously competed on "The Bachelorette," and his professional partner Sharna Burgess were eliminated after performing a Viennese waltz inspired by "Bram Stoker's Dracula." They earned 26 out of 40 points for the routine.

Also departing the competition were Jackson Olson and his professional partner Emma Slater. Their contemporary dance, inspired by the film "Joker," received 35 out of 40 points.

Following these eliminations, eight couples remain in contention for the Mirrorball Trophy: Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold, Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa, and Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik.

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson led the leaderboard after Horror Movie Night, securing the season's first perfect score of 40 out of 40 for their "Saw"-inspired contemporary routine. They now have a combined score of 76 out of 80. Tied for second place are Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, and Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, both with 74 out of 80 points.

"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+. The show's next episode on November 2 will feature a Disney on Broadway theme and guest judge Cynthia Erivo.
