Court proceedings have revealed allegations of escalating domestic behavior by television personality Sam Wood towards his wife, Snezana Wood. A court heard on Thursday that Ms. Wood expressed fear for her safety following an alleged domestic violence incident at the couple's apartment in Noosa.
The allegations surfaced after a photographer witnessed a tense public encounter between the couple in Melbourne on February 2, 2024. This encounter was followed by troubling photographs that emerged, reportedly at odds with the couple's public image.
Wood, who met his wife on the 2015 season of The Bachelor, did not appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday, with his legal representative citing mental health concerns. His lawyer, Mathew Cuskelly, handled the matter on his behalf.
