Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing crossed paths with Habboo's former boyfriend, Sam Thompson, and his girlfriend Talitha Balinska, in a VIP suite at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
The group, who all have connections to the reality show Made in Chelsea, were seen mingling during day 10 of the tournament.
Thompson and Laing famously had a public falling out in 2019 when Laing began dating Habboo shortly after her six-month relationship with Thompson concluded. The friendship was fractured for several years, but the two have since reconciled. Thompson shared last year that an emotional phone call with Laing following a Comic Relief challenge helped mend their relationship.
During a podcast appearance, Thompson revealed that he was initially upset with Laing not only for dating his ex but also for not being upfront about it. He recalled saying, "You had a bit of a history for going after people's exes and people's girlfriends... I remember saying to you afterwards, just please don't do this one, I was like please, and then it happened."
Thompson also expressed surprise that he had to learn about the relationship through observation rather than direct communication. "Then I think it's because you didn't tell me, and I had to see it. I was like, dude, what the f**k, you didn't tell me," he said.
Despite the past conflict, Thompson has since stated that he believes Habboo and Laing were meant to be together. He commented on their marriage and the birth of their child, noting, "things happen for a reason."
Habboo and Thompson dated on Made in Chelsea in 2018. After their split in 2019, Habboo stated that she ended the relationship because Thompson was too doting, which she found to be needy.
Habboo arrived at Wimbledon in a cream negligee dress, while Laing wore a matching outfit. Balinska, who began dating Thompson in September, wore a lilac floral dress. They were seen in the Evian's Mountain Of Youth VIP suite.
