TV Host Lorraine Kelly Adapts Lifestyle for Granddaughter
The British television presenter is prioritizing health and fitness to keep up with her two-year-old granddaughter.
British television presenter Lorraine Kelly, 66, has significantly altered her lifestyle to ensure she can actively participate in her two-year-old granddaughter Billie's life.
Kelly, known for her daytime talk show, stated that becoming a grandmother has provided her with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation to remain fit and healthy. She expressed a strong desire to be present for Billie's milestones and growth.
"I want to be around for her as long as I can. Being a granny has given me a new lease of life. It’s a whole different world," Kelly told The Sunday Mail. "I’ve really changed my lifestyle since Billie was born."
Her updated routine includes reducing alcohol consumption and engaging in regular physical activity. Kelly now swims and attends weekly strength training classes, aiming to match the energy levels of her toddler granddaughter, whose mother is Kelly's daughter, Rosie.
"I love taking Billie to the park or soft play but toddlers are super fast. You’ve got to be alert and aware and be able to follow them," Kelly explained, highlighting the physical demands of active grandparenting.
