TV Host Karl Stefanovic Faces Financial Strain Amidst Lifestyle Costs and Legal Dispute

Australian television personality Karl Stefanovic is reportedly facing a significant financial squeeze, with his considerable monthly expenses clashing with diminishing income streams and a burgeoning legal dispute.

Stefanovic's lifestyle, which includes maintaining a $20 million property portfolio, is said to cost up to $200,000 per month. This substantial outlay is reportedly becoming harder to sustain as his primary income source from the "Today Show" is nearing its conclusion. The exact details of his "Today Show" millions drying up remain unclear, but the situation is compounded by a legal row concerning a podcast he co-founded.

The podcast, which launched in January with considerable fanfare, has become a focal point of legal action. Stefanovic had reportedly planned to remove his business partner, Keshnee Kemp, from her director role at their joint podcast company, 123 Podcast, in a meeting scheduled for September 18. However, Kemp initiated swift legal action in the Supreme Court this week to prevent her ousting, a move that could result in significant costs.

Kemp and Stefanovic had initially plotted the podcast together. The venture's trajectory faltered after an interview with UK figure Tommy Robinson, which prompted Stefanovic's exit from Nine, the network that airs the "Today Show." This fallout appears to have been fatal to their friendship, once characterized by a close bond with their respective partners.

Stefanovic's business adviser, Anthony Bell, has also been reportedly involved in discussions related to the podcast's management. The legal maneuver by Kemp signifies a potentially expensive end to her partnership with Stefanovic.
