President Trump issued a stark warning to Oman on Monday, stating that the United States would "bomb the s–t" out of the country if it interferes with the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz.

"If Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the s–t out of them," Trump said in an interview with Fox News. His remarks come as a tentative cease-fire agreement between the U.S. and Iran is nearing its expiration.

Iran has recently reported being in discussions with Oman regarding potential pathways to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping lane. The strait, through which nearly one-fifth of the world's seaborne oil is transported, has been a focal point of conflict. Iran has reportedly used the strait as leverage during the ongoing conflict, contributing to fluctuations in global gas prices.

Earlier in the week, Trump announced during a rally on Long Island that he intends to designate the Strait of Hormuz as U.S. territory following the conclusion of the conflict.
