Trump Unveils 'AI Force,' Rebrands AI Concerns as 'Democrat Hoax'

Former President Donald Trump announced the formation of a new entity dubbed the "AI Force" on Truth Social, stating his intention to foster and oversee the growth of artificial intelligence. He characterized concerns about the environmental impact of data centers, often linked to AI development, as a "Democrat hoax," drawing parallels to climate change and other debated issues.

In his Saturday post, Trump declared, "We will not in any way hinder or stifle the Growth of this incredible Industry. Rather, we will cherish it, help it, and watch over it, as it grows!" He also indicated that the justice system would be employed to address any negative aspects of AI development.

Trump proposed rebranding "artificial intelligence" to terms such as "superior intelligence," "extreme intelligence," or "supreme intelligence," highlighting what he described as an "ever-growing revolution." He compared the planned "AI Force" to Space Force, though details regarding its operational specifics were limited. The White House has not yet provided comment on the announcement.
