President Trump stated Tuesday that the United States will continue airstrikes against Iran until a satisfactory outcome is achieved, with "energy targets" on the horizon. He indicated that power plants and bridges in Iran could be struck "next week" unless the regime agrees to negotiate.

"We're going to hit them very hard tonight. We're going to hit them very hard tomorrow night. We're going to hit them very hard the night after, and then next week it gets really bad for them because next week comes the power plants," Trump said in an interview with Fox News reporter Trey Yingst. "Next week comes the bridges. We're going to knock out all their power plants. We're going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate."

Trump indicated that these actions would be taken in addition to ongoing strikes. He characterized the potential targets as "energy targets" and stated he would "save the energy targets for last, but ultimately we'll hit energy targets."

The president reiterated that strikes would continue "until I say it's enough."
