Trump Threatens Iran with 'Hell' at UN, Vows to Prevent Nuclear Weapons

President Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, issuing a stark warning to Iran and vowing to prevent the nation from developing nuclear weapons. He urged UN members to support U.S. efforts against Iran, outlining a potential military escalation.

"I have a big decision to make: Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before, maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world?" Trump stated. "Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do that quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness or generations?"

Trump framed the conflict as a result of "settling years of unfinished business," asserting that Iran is the "number one sponsor of terror." He claimed that despite agreeing to a ceasefire for nuclear discussions, Iran violated it with "brazen acts of terrorism against civilian ships." The president called on all nations to join the U.S. in enforcing "complete economic isolation of Iran until they stop their attacks on commercial shipping, relinquish their nuclear ambitions, and cease their support of terror."

He predicted that a deal with Iran would be reached after the upcoming Nov. 3 midterm elections, suggesting that Iran was waiting to see the election results. However, Trump emphasized that his focus remains on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, regardless of election outcomes.

Stance on Artificial Intelligence and Global Governance

In his address, Trump also responded to calls for restrictions on artificial intelligence, stating that the U.S. "totally rejects any attempt to construct a globalist scheme to control for the artificial intelligence." He expressed his commitment to encouraging its development, comparing its potential impact to the industrial revolution and the internet. He assured that the U.S. Justice Department and other law enforcement bodies would monitor AI developments.

Trump also criticized the concept of a "global government" and specific UN bodies. He recounted an instance where his administration intervened to stop what he described as an "obscure UN body" from establishing a global carbon tax on international shipping. "There is no global government, and while I’m president, there will be no global taxes," he declared.

He further voiced opposition to the International Criminal Court (ICC), calling it an "anti-American tribunal" and urging member nations to resign. Trump also criticized the UN Human Rights Council and UNESCO, from which the U.S. withdrew the previous year, stating that globalists were "actively destroying the greatest cultures and most extraordinary heritage in all of history" through their promotion of mass migration.

Other Developments

Trump also highlighted recent U.S. foreign policy achievements, including a new military agreement in Greenland, increased foreign investment, record stock market performance, and the removal of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. He predicted the fall of Cuba's Communist government.

"America is back and our country is stronger today than ever before," Trump asserted, detailing the strength of the U.S. economy, military, and technology. He also made light of media presence, quipping about CNN's coverage.
