Donald Trump's campaign is charging substantial fees for access to the former president and photo opportunities at an upcoming midterm "convention." The Wall Street Journal reported that a roundtable discussion with Trump will cost $250,000 per person, while a photo opportunity with him will require an additional $88,600.

The event also offers tiered access, with Vice President JD Vance available for a $75,000 roundtable and a $35,000 photo. Beyond these interactions, attendees can purchase "honorary delegate" status for up to $20,000.

The unusual nature of the event extends to its fundraising model, where various levels of access and engagement are priced for attendees. This strategy comes as Trump's MAGA Inc. super PAC reportedly holds a $400 million reserve. Donors have expressed concern that the PAC has not yet significantly deployed these funds to support Republican candidates in competitive races, particularly as the midterm elections approach.
