Trump Shares Graphic Video of Fatal Tiger Attack in Warning to Americans

Former President Donald Trump shared a graphic video of a fatal tiger attack to his Truth Social account, coupled with other clips of animals attacking humans. The original video depicted the death of William Chapman, 24, who was mauled to death by a Siberian tiger named Altai at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in the UK on Saturday. Trump captioned the clip of Chapman's death with the message: 'Don’t ever mess with nature! President DJT.'

Chapman had climbed into the tiger's enclosure, where witnesses reported he was dancing and appeared to be in a trance before approaching the animal. He was attacked shortly after. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, responded to the scene, but Chapman was pronounced dead. The park staff reportedly attempted to drive the tiger away using acoustic blasts, and the animal will not be euthanized.

Following the initial post, Trump shared additional videos showing a lion escaping an enclosure and attacking a janitor, as well as multiple clips of lions attacking a zookeeper. These subsequent videos were posted without captions as Trump was en route to a rally in Alaska.

The City of Doncaster Council, the licensing authority for Yorkshire Wildlife Park, has initiated a health and safety investigation into the incident. The park, which opened in 2009, features a two-acre reserve for Amur tigers. The Land of the Tigers attraction was added in 2011.
