Former U.S. President Donald Trump has shared an edited video clip on his Truth Social account that falsely suggests King Charles ignored a fainting Asda employee. The doctored footage, originally filmed six years ago during a visit to a Bristol distribution center, depicts the King appearing to put his hand in his pocket and walk away as a worker collapses.

In contrast, the full-length video shows King Charles attempting to catch the employee and remaining nearby as the individual received medical attention. The employee later expressed gratitude for the monarch's concern. The video was part of a montage critical of world leaders, including U.S. Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama, and French President Macron, portraying them in a negative light.

The montage, posted on U.S. Labor Day, aimed to present a version of Trump that he claims the media does not show. It included images of Trump honoring soldiers and greeting police officers, set to music.

Trump has previously expressed a positive relationship with the Royal Family, stating he had a "good relationship" with Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles. He also voiced criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step back from royal duties, calling their actions "terribly disrespectful to the Queen, to King Charles."

An Asda spokesman confirmed the incident at the time, stating the employee briefly fainted but recovered and continued the tour, handling the event "like a pro."
