Secret Service Director Sean Curran has acknowledged that using decoy Air Force One flights to secretly move President Donald Trump was a security tactic previously employed by his team.
"Look, that's not the first time we've done that," Curran stated in a preview clip of an interview with CBS's 60 Minutes, released on Friday. "We wish that wasn't reported, because that takes some of our tactics away from being able to do something similar again."
The admission follows reports that Trump was secretly transported on a decoy Air Force One flight, with a catering truck reportedly used to move the president and three aides onto the decoy plane. The incident occurred while the official Air Force One was parked on the tarmac in Ankara, Turkey.
