Former President Donald Trump has shared a message regarding Senator Lindsey Graham's death that has drawn attention for its content and tone.
Trump recalled a specific moment where Graham expressed dissent during the events of January 6th, describing it as a "bad moment" for the senator. According to Trump, Graham later contacted him expressing disbelief at his own words. "He had one bad moment in the January 6 thing when he stood up -- 'alright, now I've had it, that's it, I can't do it anymore' -- then he called me about 40 minutes later and said, 'Did I really said that? I can't believe it.' And he took it back," Trump stated.
This recollection was part of Trump's online posting, which some observers characterized as an unusual tribute. One report noted, "If there was a weirder way to pay tribute to Lindsey Graham, I haven’t seen it."
