Trump's Former DHS Secretary Mullin Shares Washington Home with Congressman Colleague

Former Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin is reportedly sharing a residence in Washington D.C. with Republican Congressman Jason Smith, a close friend. The unusual living arrangement has been described by insiders as akin to a "college dorm."

Mullin, 49, a former Oklahoma senator and MMA fighter, and Smith, 46, are said to be sharing a classic brick row house on Capitol Hill. The property, listed on Zillow, is a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom townhouse built in the 1890s. It features original oak floors, twin fireplaces, and a private rear courtyard. The residence was priced at $1.8 million.

Mullin's wife, Christie, and their six children primarily reside on their ranch in Oklahoma. She occasionally stays with her husband when she visits Washington. Mullin himself owns more than 40 properties across Washington D.C. and Missouri.

Mullin served as Secretary of Homeland Security under the Trump administration. He has been a member of the House of Representatives for Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district since 2013. Smith, who represents Missouri's 2nd congressional district, has been in Congress since 2013 as well and is currently the ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Mullin's security detail has been observed at the shared residence, and multiple unidentified individuals have been seen leaving the property. Neither Mullin nor Smith have been publicly seen at the home during these observations.
